Rugby, academic & mentor sessions

"What level player / coach is the coaching aimed at?"

The ability level of the player(s) or coach(es) does not matter. Sessions will be differentiated accordingly and session are suitable for beginners.

"How much are your travel costs?"

As I am based in Lytham St Annes, they are free if you come here. If you would like me to travel to you, costs are £5 for the Fylde coast and for Preston & further afield, please contact me for a quote:

"Do you offer discounts for multiple bookings?"

I do. Please contact me for details.

Why should I pay for 1-2-1 coaching? How is it different from school or club coaching?

The difference is that training is completely bespoke to learner needs and all diagnostics, feedback and advice is focused on the player present. In larger groups, a coach or teacher's attention is split usually around larger numbers.

"Is there flexibility on the amount of people that can take part?"

Give me a call, email or message and i'll happily have a conversation regarding numbers and what we can do.

"Where will the sessions take place?"

At the learners discretion or at an Fw7 approved site.  For coaching If there is room then a back garden - if not a local green space suitable for activity. With regards to teaching and mentoring, it can be over the phone, via teams etc or face to face.

"If an unexpected accident occurs, is Fw7 insured?"

Fw7 is covered by UK Coaching Platinum Membership,  Part of Sportscover Europe &underwritten by Lloyds

"How are you qualified in terms  of safeguarding?"

I hold Enhanced DBS certificates from school, the ECB, RFU and I am registered on the DBS online service.

"How do you help a player learn to 'read the game' and improve involvement / decision making?"

If you have any footage of you playing in a match or competitive training session, we can use that to analyse and break down every movement and decision made.

"How do I pay?"

I will accept cash or bank transfers and will invoice you accordingly for your records.

"What equipment will I need?"

Fw7 will provide activity related equipment. Learners need personal PPE such as gum shield, suitable clothing and footwear suitable for the identified training area.

"What happens if the weather is bad?

Sessions will not go ahead in severe weather. This will be agreed with client and alternative date for session arranged.

"Is there a chance I can hurt myself?"

With physical activity there is always a chance of injury, but sessions are primarily technical and I am a qualified first aider and will have an emergency kit at all sessions.

"Is it just rugby you coach?"

I am a qualified PE teacher so I have over a decade of experience teaching multiple sports, but rugby is my specialism followed by cricket.
