Fw7 is a bespoke personal rugby coaching, teaching and mentoring service. Rugby, as in life is about moving forwards both physically & mentally.

This can be individual or group, online or face to face (9+). I also offer rugby coach education with a focus on core skill development.

Offered is a person centred approach to learning based upon identified development targets or an initial diagnostic of core skills and knowledge base in rugby or educational contexts. I have been lucky enough to experience a wide variety of learning environments that include Independent, state boarding, comprehensive and PRU / alternative education establishments as well as professional, semi professional and amateur rugby.

It is not just about physical improvement of skill sets or learned educational material. During sessions, deep dive rationales for all techniques and decision making, tactical development and educational points will be provided. All learners, sportsmen & women must understand ‘why’ they are to perform an action or follow a set of instructions in order to buy in to its execution and repeat it under pressure. By becoming invested in something you will optimise personal performance levels or function better as a component within a team. It's important to me that learners know the reasons they are doing things and how they are best used practicallly.

Working in schools and alternative education as a teacher, mentor, head of year and mental health lead have given me a wide range of experiences which equip me well to work with young people and adults across a variety of issues and needs. I recognise the pressures of modern life, especially in education and understand the issues that are accentuated by the presence of social media and the forever changing landscape we find ourselves in.

Learning, coaching and mentoring  sessions will be designed to be active, engaging, challenging but most importantly fun.
